Tech for Business
We have officially rolled out our services to small businesses! Over the last year, we have had the pleasure to serve several local businesses in the Charleston area, including spas, cafes, and financial firms. We have now officially added business-oriented services to our website that are geared towards business owners of all types.

Reolink Smart Cameras
There's a new player in the smart home camera game that has been taking things to the next level: Reolink. Their cameras are some of the most robust in the smart home market. We especially love these cameras for new construction, since almost every camera they have accepts a PoE connection, meaning that it is constantly powered on and hardwired into your network.
PoE cameras have been around for a long time, but Reolink has a differentiator: smart integrations and cloud recording, all for free. No subscriptions, person and vehicle detection included, and the cameras integrate with Google and/or Alexa. The result is a rock solid camera that you can control and view from anywhere, using the apps you already have. The best part? They're no more expensive than the typical smart cameras from Ring, Google, Arlo, or other cameras.
They have been making cameras since 2009, but their product portfolio is so broad now that they have cameras for almost any situation. Some cameras are tiny and fit into almost any space, some cameras have dual lenses for extra-wide view, and other cameras look like military-grade security cameras.

In-Wall Touchscreens
As smart homes grow in popularity, there is a greater need for easy, instant control of all the devices in your home. Instead of pulling your phone out each time, many homeowners would prefer a sleek, attractive wall touch screen that can control their lights, music, security, and more.
A newer player in the game is Brilliant, who manufactures smart home controllers that integrate with your light switches. This adds a touch screen and futuristic light dimmers to existing light switches, so you don't have to take up any more wall space. The touch screen can show your music, security system, cameras, and more. A great solution for both new and existing homes.
Another trend that we love is mounting iPads in the wall using recessed cavities, like the ones from SimpliDock. This allows you to have a familiar interface with access to all your smart home apps that are already logged in and ready to use. Plus, with various trims and finish designs, it looks great on your wall!
