Security by Elevate
We now provide our own security systems! Of course, we've been installing security systems for years, but they have always been Ring, SimpliSafe, and other systems that are owned by a larger company. Now, we have our own! Just as you might see ADT, CPI, and other security signs in yards, you may start seeing Elevate Technologies security signs in your neighborhood.
We are now a dealer for Alarm.com and provide 24/7 professional monitoring through our national monitoring station. This allows us to more closely customize each system to our customer's needs, following our motto to provide "Tailored Tech Solutions." Our monthly monitoring plans meet or beat the price of plans from Ring or SimpliSafe.
What does this mean for you? If you have a traditional wired security system in your home, we can perform a "takeover" and manage that system for you. There may even be some upgrades we can make to modernize your system. If you're moving into a new home, we can help you take advantage of a fully integrated security and surveillance system, managed by your local tech provider: Elevate.
AI Alexa
Alexa is getting a BIG upgrade. Amazon announced last week the revamped Alexa+, which is a generative-AI-enhanced version of the Alexa that many of our clients use. Now, this isn't the "slap AI on everything" tactic that many companies have taken, this is truly a transformation on how you use your smart home.
Alexa today can do basic tasks, like turn on music, check the wheather, and turn off the lights. But what about making dinner reservations? Ordering more dog food? Delivering DoorDash? All these tasks and MUCH more are possible with the new Alexa+ upgrade.
Boldly, there is no catch - Alexa+ is FREE for Amazon Prime members, which many homeowners already are. They are slowly rolling this out to certain users and certain devices, but expect it to show up soon.
We aren't an Alexa household, but this is why we are so excited: this enhancement with AI was only a matter of time, and we are sure that Google and Siri are close on their heels. This will be a great benefit for us, the end users, as these tech giants compete to innovate on smart home voice assistants. It's a great step forward for anyone that likes a smarter home!
Boom & Elevate
If you've ever considered getting a smart conference room, you were probably hit with sticker shock from Logitech and other systems out there. $4k for a soundbar? No way. Luckily, there is a new option.
We have partnered with Boom to provide simple, effective, and reliable conference room solutions at a price that makes sense. In some areas, Boom is up to 80% cheaper than Logitech systems, with specs that meet or exceed those of Logitech. Boom formed in 2020 and are based in Austin, TX, so we are excited to partner with a young, American-made company that aims to make tech more accessible for everyone.
If you've never heard of a smart conference room, these systems integrate TVs, microphones, laptops, and cameras, so that you can host meetings quickly and effectively in a large room setting. Without them, video calls can be awkward to set up, keep everyone in frame, and hear all members of the meeting. This new player in the market makes smart conference rooms much more achievable for businesses of all shapes and sizes.
