Seamless Systems for Elevated Dining

Exquisite Experience for Discerning Diners
We were brought in to support the launch of a new restaurant backed by a well-renowned chef, where the timeline was tight and the expectations were high. The space had already been fully insulated with spray foam before we got involved—making wiring extremely difficult—but with our retrofit expertise, we were able to run all the cabling needed without major disruption.
Our scope included Cat6, speaker wire, coax, and access control wiring throughout the restaurant. These connections supported a robust network with UniFi Wi-Fi 7 access points for full coverage, hardwired point-of-sale systems, premium audio zones, and a secure access control solution.
All wiring terminated to a clean third-floor rack system built around a full UniFi stack, including the UDM, NVR, PoE switch, and Access Hub. The rack was located in a utility/storage room that kept everything safe, out of the way, and easy to service.
One particularly unique challenge was designing the audio system. The client wanted fantastic, high-fidelity sound throughout the restaurant, including in the private dining rooms upstairs. To meet this standard, we installed NAIM amplifiers and streamers, which powered a mix of in-ceiling speakers in utility areas and stylish JBL retro-look speakers in the main space. For the private dining rooms—accessible only by passcode—we installed KEF bookshelf speakers for a truly high-end listening experience to match the ambiance.
We also designed and installed the access control system, including the UniFi touch screen at the private dining room door, full maglock setup, push-to-exit buttons, and access hub infrastructure. The reservation-only dining rooms could be unlocked with a code, and the front of the restaurant featured a street-facing UniFi intercom with a modern touch display that could withstand daily foot traffic.
Surveillance was covered by a full UniFi bullet camera suite, monitoring both interior and exterior areas of the property for security and accountability.
Despite the challenging retrofit conditions and compressed schedule, the project came together smoothly and helped the restaurant open on time—with plans in the works to support more restaurant locations down the road.
